Meizu have quietly sneaked a 2GB RAM version of their Meizu m1 through TENAA in China. A launch before the Chinese New Year is possible.
When Meizu released the m1 many fans were happy with the overall specifications but disappointed on 2 things. 1) single SIM and 2) only 1GB RAM. The issue was that just a day before the release of the Meizu m1, Xiaomi posted details of a 2GB RAM version of the Xiaomi Redmi 2 at TENAA after only announcing a 1GB version.
With the amount work Meizu put in to building the m1 into a Redmi killer, it comes as no surprise that a 2GB RAM version of the phone has also sneaked through the TENAA network approval process. Details of the phone appear to be unchanged with same screen, processor and China only network support, but with more RAM. Pricing is expected to be around 799 Yuan.
