This domain, meizunews.com, previously hosted an independent fan news site that covered devices made by Meizu, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. That site was run by enthusiasts, was never an official channel, and is no longer published. The domain later became available and we acquired it.
MZN Tech is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Meizu Technology Co., Ltd in any way. We have no relationship with the company, no access to it, and no inside knowledge of its plans. Meizu is a real and still-trading manufacturer; any trade marks referred to here belong to their respective owners. If you arrived looking for the old fan site or for official Meizu news, this is not it.
What we publish now is general consumer technology writing, under the name MZN Tech and the tagline phones, gadgets and what they actually do. The emphasis is on the second half of that. Specification sheets are easy to find and largely useless for deciding anything; what is harder to find is a plain account of which differences you will notice in daily use, which ones vanish within a week, and which quiet decisions made at design time will still be affecting you three years later.
So we write explainers, buying frameworks, and analysis of how the industry works: how battery claims are constructed, why two cameras disagree about the same scene, what a promise of software support is worth, how repairability and disposal shape the real cost of a device. Meizu may appear in that coverage as one manufacturer among many, treated no differently from any other.
