Just moments ago Meizu announced the full details and specifications for the Meizu m1, here is everything you need to know.
Meizu released their first phone of 2015 today, and rather than launching a flagship device (like Xiaomi) they released an entry-level phone costing only 699 Yuan. So far only a China Mobile or TD version of the phone has been officially listed, but we can take a look at the specs for when the WCDMA/FDD version is announced.
As we expected the Meizu m1 has a 5-inch display, but a slightly higher resolution of 1280 x 768 making for a pixel density of 300ppi. Above the screen a generous 5 mega-pixel front camera with F2.0 aperture is located for taking selfies and boasts the same Fotonation tech as the unit on the m1 note.
Also similar to the m1 note is the unibody polycarbonate shell on the rear of the phone. The m1 will come in blue, green, yellow, white, pink and peppermint blue.
The rear camera is the same 13 mega-pixel sensor as the Meizu m1 note but this time with only a single LED flash.
Internally the Meizu m1 has a quad-core MT6732 Mediatek processor running at 1.5Ghz. This is a the 4 core 64bit Mediatek chip and supports 4G LTE, however so far it supports just TD-LTE. The SIM card is installed via a SIM tray, that can accept a single SIM and also a micro SD card of up to 128GB. Internal memory is 8GB for storage and 1GB RAM.
Dimensions of the Meizu m1 are 140.2 x 72.1 x 8.9mm with a weight of only 128g. Final pieces of the Meizu m1 puzzle include a 2610mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.0, Dual band WIFI, GPS and Glonass.
