Meizu boss Heng Zhang has confirmed on his Weibo that Meizu will unveil a new device at MWC next month focussed on the international market.
A few weeks ago we posted news that sources at Canonical had confirmed that they would show a new Ubuntu phone at MWC, now Meizu head Heng Zhang has confirmed that a new device aimed at international phone fans will be at MWC.
As Meizu aren’t officially listed to be exhibiting at MWC in Barcelona, then we can assume that the device being referred to is the Ubuntu Meizu phone. In the past the Meizu MX3 was shown at MWC with Ubuntu, but this year we believe it will either be the Meizu MX4 or MX4 Pro.
Which ever Meizu device is revealed at MWC, it is believed that it will ship with a dual boot system allowing users to switch between Ubuntu for Meizu’s Flyme OS.
